The HCMP strives to enhance the lives of and create learning opportunities for at-risk youth through a structured music program that continues throughout the school year. We encourage students to make positive lifestyle choices and foster a lifelong love of music.

The HCMP has two programs that require volunteers who are passionate about music: our Performance Troupe and our volunteer music teachers.

Our performance troupe performs at the Heart & Soul Year End Concert and various locations across Edmonton.
Our volunteer teachers offer weekly music lessons for students at inner-city elementary schools.

Our Team
In addition to our teachers, the HCMP includes our Executive Team, which oversees the promotion and smooth running of our group, and our Performance Troupe, which consists of young and skilled musicians who volunteer their time and talent by performing at public functions.
